Jennifer Hudson is likely to sign on to play Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant in “Sex and the City: The Movie“
The singer and actress, 25, will portray the assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoe-obsessed characte, and is in final negotiations with the movie’s producers about details of her role, Variety is reporting.

This is great news! Sex and the City needed some diversity and Jennifer Hudson would be a “fabulous” choice. Can’t wait to see the movie – I’ve been rewatching episodes on DVD since the final season ended – I can always find a good laugh.

Jennifer would add some spice to the show. I believe she is a talented person (just as Jamie Fox) that can excell in many areas. My only gripe is her wardrobe. I hope she f inds herself and wears things that will compliment her body shape.
